PERSONAL FILES

Wackiest prank?
When we were playing for Jim Mora, we had a no-hazing policy. But I think that making a guy sing at dinner time in the cafeteria is the most embarrassing thing that can happen to an individual, especially if you can’t sing. My rookie year they made me sing. I sang “You Are Not Alone” by Michael Jackson. It was awful. But I started dancing and got a couple other guys dancing and made up for the singing.

Nicknames?
I’m just Mike right now.

Mottos:
Love is Love. Beggars can’t be choosers. Everything that glitters ain’t gold.

Tattoos?
I have 12. My favorite is on my shoulder it’s a tattoo of my grandmother, who I lost while I was in prison.

Best defensive player I’ve faced:
It was preseason, but I would have to say Ray Lewis. I don’t want to offend anyone. This league is full of great players but Ray is one of the best I’ve played and a certified Hall of Famer.

Best offensive player I’ve played with:
Alge Crumpler, he was my favorite target while I was in Atlanta.

My best play (so far):
Probably the play I made against Carolina in 2004. It was the last play of the game, the last second, and I dove into the end zone to win it.

Closest friends in football:
Roddy White, Jonas Jennings, Donovan McNabb.

Favorite food:
Lasagna.

Favorite movies:
“Face/Off,” “Rush Hour,” “Bad Boys I” and Bad Boys II.”

What’s in your iPod?
Jay–Z, TI, Jadakiss, Lil Wayne, I have everything in there.

Superstitions:
I have two: I never split the poles and I never wear all black.

Best qualities for a person to have:
You have to have good character, the ability to make good decisions and good judgment.

Charities:
The Michael Vick Foundation helps inner-city kids with after school programs and tutoring.

My hero is:
My mom. She’s a strong woman and I’ve seen her overcome a lot of adversity. My whole family is a huge inspiration to me and why I do what I do!
